Glimpses of Uttarakhand(Tableau)

A tableau presentation on Uttarakhand was organised on 2 February 2026 at Beersheba Senior Secondary School to highlight the state’s culture, heritage, and natural beauty. The tableau began with the display of the map of Uttarakhand along with the state emblem. The state animal, flower, and tree were shown to represent the rich biodiversity of the state.

Uttarakhand as Devbhoomi was depicted through models of famous temples and holy places. This was followed by a display of traditional food, representing the simple and healthy lifestyle of the people. A Garhwali dance performance added colour and energy to the presentation.

Traditional costumes and jewellery were displayed to show cultural richness. The Kumaon Regiment was represented to honour the courage and discipline of soldiers. Major festivals and the Jhoda folk dance highlighted unity, tradition, and community spirit.

In conclusion, the tableau was informative and well organised. It increased awareness among students and was appreciated by everyone. The activity helped students learn through teamwork and creativity while developing confidence and responsibility.
