INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION-2026

Today, Beersheba Sr. Sec. School celebrated 80th Independence Day with great joy and patriotism. The entire campus was beautifully decorated with tricolor flags, vibrant balloons, and festive banners. The event officially commenced at 9:00 AM with the hoisting of the national flag by the school Principal, followed by a solemn rendition of the National Anthem and the National Song. The celebration featured a variety of cultural programs, speeches, and patriotic musical performances.Students from classes III to IX sang inspiring patriotic group songs, while senior students staged a powerful play depicting the hard work and sacrifices of freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh and Mahatma Gandhi

Several individual and group presentations stood out during the event. Tanushree from class XII D delivered a deeply inspiring speech that touched hearts by honoring our freedom fighters and reminding everyone of their duties as young citizens.

A special highlight of the day was a dance performance by differently-abled children. Additionally, primary school children dressed up as great freedom fighters and shared famous quotes on stage, while students of classes VI to VIII dramatized the tragic Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir, showcasing the precise, resolute response of the Indian Armed Forces through Operation Sindoor.

In her address, the Principal spoke extensively about the true value of freedom and the responsibilities of students. She emphasized the importance of hard work in contributing to the nation's development and expressed her gratitude to everyone present. The program was smoothly anchored by Pratishtha Pangtey of class XII A.

The successful event concluded with the distribution of sweet treats to all students and teachers. Everyone left the campus with a proud heart and the resounding cheer of "Jai Hind!" Distinguished guests in attendance included Vice Principal Mr. H. S. Babbar, Administrator Mrs. Nisha Singh, and HOD of Primary Mrs. Anita Bisht.
