Beersheba Senior Secondary School, Haldwani, formed its School Cabinet for the academic session 2026–27 today. Being a member of the School Cabinet is a great achievement for every student, as it motivates them to reach new heights in the future and helps develop a new personality in the students. Captains and Vice-Captains were appointed for the various houses formed in the school. A Cultural Secretary, Sports Captains, and Hindi and English Editors were also appointed. Captains and Vice-Captains were also appointed for the various houses of the Junior Section.

The school’s founder, Mrs. Nirupama Bhatt Talwar, and Manager, Mr. Tilak Raj Talwar, blessed the newly formed School Cabinet and wished them a bright future.

Shourya Pratap Singh was selected as the Head Boy of Beersheba Senior Secondary School, while Kamakshi Tiwari was selected as the Head Girl.

Yug Rautela and Tara Mehta were appointed as the Sports Captains.

Kunal Arya was appointed Cultural Secretary, while Shreya Arya was appointed Cultural Vice-Secretary.

Kanishka Jantwal was appointed English Editor, with Jai Kandwal and Alayza Ali Chishti as Deputy Editors. Vartika Kausharwani was appointed Hindi Editor, while Kanishka Rawat and Tanisha Joshi were appointed Deputy Editors.

The office-bearers of the various houses were also selected today. In the Senior Section, from Kalam House, Rohit Singh Bisht was appointed Captain and Komal Nagarkoti Vice-Captain. From Tagore House, Shobhit Tiwari was appointed Captain and Gayatri Tiwari Vice-Captain. Raman House appointed Ashish Chandra as Captain and Harshita Pandey as Vice-Captain. Vivekananda House appointed Archana Pant as Captain and Karan Rawali as Vice-Captain.

For the Primary Section, Tanvi Pandey from Kalam House was appointed Captain and Samarth Arya Vice-Captain. From Tagore House, Shivangi Chandola was appointed Captain and Rishabh Singh Vice-Captain. Raman House appointed Rashita Keda as Captain and Arth Rautela as Vice-Captain. Vivekananda House appointed Paras Tiwari as Captain and Aizza John as Vice-Captain.

Administrative Manager, Ms. Nisha Singh, and HOD Mrs. Anita Bisht, presented badges to the newly appointed cabinet members of the Primary Section. Principal, Mrs. Meena Sati, and Vice-Principal, Mr. H.S. Babbar, presented sashes and badges to the newly appointed cabinet members of the Senior Section.

The School Cabinet oath was administered by Principal, Mrs. Meena Sati. Thereafter, the Principal addressed the gathering and encouraged the Cabinet members by highlighting their duties and responsibilities. She congratulated the team and reminded them that with position comes responsibility towards themselves, their school, and their peers. She advised them to be role models for their peers and the juniors.
